Tomorrow will be one month until the day of my parents 25th wedding anniversary, that is a quarter of a century. I think is so sad that this is so rare nowadays.

I have friends, and friends with parents who have been married and divorced, married and divorced, married and divorced and so on.

I’m not saying people shouldn’t do what is best for their situations but seriously, I don’t understand it.

People should be marrying someone who they want to be with forever, who they want to experience life with, someone who completes you, someone to share your favorite activities with, someone who wants to pick you up when your down. 

Now it seems like who has the nicest car, who has the most bank, who is going to reproduce beautiful children, who can benefit you in the moment, who’s your baby’s daddy (even if they hate each other) 

It’s ridiculous to think that is becoming the new normal, Scary actually.
